How can I help my husband with tinnitus?

My husband has tinnitus and he's so miserable! He bought a small fountain that makes a noise that masking the problem. But, the sound it makes keeps me up at night. I may get earplugs, but I wish there was a way he could get better, or another way to help him sleep that would not keep me up all night.

    First he needs to avoid all aspirin products and wear hearing protection around loud noises.. Aspirin is a leading cause of tinnitus. He needs to be evaluated by a Physician as this can be a sign of many problems.

    It is annoying to have ringing in the ears constantly. It can drive you crazy.
